The new range is an overhaul of everything we could improve — structurally, in how the bikes are built with some minor tweaks sitting alongside some major updates, and a range of process changes with new interactive tools to help the ordering process be more transparent.

Some headlines:

• Increased modularity, a wider range of build options that maximises thirdy party component compatibility.
• The aero features of our aero focussed bikes, combined with the ride quality our round-tubed bikes are famed for.
• Drivetrain efficiency. A big focus, and where the watts actually go, Stiffness where it matters.
• Proper material interfaces — making the bikes as easy to live with as possible for years to come.

An overhaul of everything we can improve. Easier to live with day to day, whilst stepping up the performance that can meaningfully be stepped up.

Built to be modular

The change you’ll notice first is modularity.

The current bikes are very much a single specification concept— you choose the size and the finish, and the rest is fairly fixed. The new frames separate the parts that have to be bespoke from the parts that don’t, so you decide where the budget goes. A wider range of build specs, and upgrade paths that don’t mean a new frame.

The fork is a pertinent example. A titanium fork is beautiful, and expensive. A carbon fork on the same frame drops the kit price substantially without meaningfully touching the geometry or the fit. Our current generation of bike require the use of our own proprietary titanium fork. the updated generation use an ENVE in route fork by default with a titanium upgrade option that boosts tyre clearance a little coming in late 2026

What that changes is who can have one

A Sturdy frame kit now starts at a price comparable to a top-tier frameset from any of the big names.

That isn’t something we’ve been able to say before.

All whilst being Designed, Engineered, Machined, Fabricated, Finished and Assembled under one roof here in Somerset. One at a time.

The basics

The Frame kit: Titanium frame, Titanium seatpost, Titanium stem, ENVE carbon fork, headset.

£5,000 (ex UK VAT)

That price holds until the end of September. A refundable deposit of £1,000 ex UK VAT locks it in — the same deposit we take on our made-to-measure builds.

After September the price will be reviewed. By then we’ll have proved out more of the parts and have a clearer picture of what the frames actually take to build, so the number will reflect real costs rather than an estimate.

Formal release is in November.

Two models

Same concept, two bikes. One road focussed, one gravel. The geometry and tyre clearance change — the rest doesn’t.
