Unless you are based in the UK you will not be charged UK VAT (prices are show EX VAT). The frames are wholly manufactured here in the UK and so may be subject to preferential origin agreements that are in place between the UK and many other countries. If a preferential origin agreement is in place the frame will be shipped under this arrangement with the required customs declarations made on the documentation.

Lead times

These frames are made on demand alongside our made to measure builds in our workshop in Frome, Somerset. Each frame is made to order however we generally keep stock of all required parts and materials meaning that we usually ship within two weeks of an order being placed.
At busy periods this lead time may extend to 6-8 weeks. If in doubt please contact us for current lead times.

The Sturdy Cycles SC-R is a premium road bike engineered for comfort, efficiency, and exceptional handling on the tarmac. Available as a standalone frame for those who prefer to spec and assemble their own bike, an additional Enve component bundle is available.

We also offer a fully assembled, ready to ride machine featuring a curated selection of our favorite high-performance components. This includes a full Enve road build kit, deep-section carbon wheelset, SRAM AXS wireless electronic shifting, and a custom finish logo. Additionally, we offer a titanium accessory kit that can be color-matched to the frame logo, giving your bike an extra touch of style.

The SC-R incorporates the game-changing 3D printing technology pioneered in our fully custom models, all hand-made and meticulously finished at the Sturdy Cycles workshop in Frome, Somerset. Optimized for versatility the frame can accommodate a maximum tire size of 35mm on 700c rims. The durable titanium frame and integrated mudguard mounting points to make this bike an ideal all-weather road bike.

While fully capable of being configured for speed, its core DNA is finely tuned for a more relaxed, endurance-friendly experience - the perfect blend of performance and comfort. A relatively low bottom bracket offsets the increased tyre sizes that are commonplace on road builds, maintaining good stability at speed without the loss of the agility expected of a road bike. The SC-R is designed to satisfy the needs and tastes of most enthusiastic club riders.

Each frame is hand made and finished to order, lead times are approximately 6-8 weeks based on stock levels. Once a customer has placed an order, Tom and Jack will begin the manufacturing process.

Finish

The SC-G comes in a shot peened Titanium finish featuring an oversized downtube logo brushed or in a choice of 8 Cerakote colours.

Fork

The frame is designed around a 370mm fork length and is compatible with a range of third party carbon fork models. For full internal routing we recommend the following forks:
