The result of a hunt for a 'go-to' wheel to complement our frames. These wheels are exceptionally light and stiff thanks to the carbon spokes but have been specified with a wide, hooked rim profile that offers great versatility with larger tyre volumes in mind.
The carbon spokes are unlike many that rely on a bonded interface between blade and metal threaded parts and instead have a tapered mechanically locked connection. We have also specified hubs that have fully enclosed spoke holes to ensure that spokes cannot become unseated in the event of rapid de-tensioning of one spoke. The hubs use 2 standard bearing sizes and a time proven freehub ratchet for easy ongoing maintenance.
